"Music gives a soul to the universe,
wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination,
and life to everything."

~ Plato ~

I first received training as a professional classical pianist. However, when studying in the Conservatory, I had to study other complementary classes such as written harmony and music analysis.  I then discovered little by little my interest in writing music. After obtaining an Advanced Diploma in piano, I continued further studies in composition by taking classes in counterpoint. But I was still not confident enough to consider myself as a 'composer' until I met my beloved teacher, the late Belgian female composer, Mrs. Berthe di Vito-Delvaux. I was her very last student in composition and it was she who encouraged me and gave me the wings to fly.

In my music, priority has always been given to 'sincerity' and 'spontaneity' even though the piece should have an overall coherent structure.

Through composition I just express my feelings at that particular moment or period of my life. The idea of 'living every present moment' is very important to me.
